VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY

The Auxiliary is a charity based organization that runs Beano to raise funds for the fire department. They also have several events during the year that provide them funds to donate to other community projects. Some of the past items purchased for the fire department include the new Jaws of Life, part of the funds needed for the new fire rescue truck ($7000) and many other pieces of equipment. Some of the community donations have gone to the schools for books and computers, funds to start a local soccer team, fireworks for Addison Days and they provide three scholarships each year. It is a wonderful organization and they are always looking for new volunteers.
