The Downeast Coastal Conservancy (DCC) has been a conservation leader in Washington County, Maine since 1987. The DCC formed in August 2009 through the merger of Great Auk Land Trust and Quoddy Regional Land Trust. Our region has unique natural and cultural resources vital to the local economy and our way of life. Conserving this working landscape and areas of high ecological importance, promoting the region for tourism and enjoyment, and improving public access and recreational opportunities are critical elements to our conservation initiatives.
