CAPE SPLIT BEACH

Cape Split Beach is located on Cape Split Road right at the bar as you cross over to the cape itself. There are spaces on the side of the road to park your vehicle. The beach is divided into two sections. The first section at the bar can be reached by stone stairs that go down from the road. This section of the beach is a great place to find sea glass. The second section can be reached by walking north from the bar beach across a heavily stone covered section or by walking through the grass path off the road going to the north. The northern section of the beach is a great place to sunbath, picnic or swim. If you follow the beach to it's farthest point north you will see the walking path that goes up the rocks into the woods along the shore.
